ID Technology Names Alan Shipman Vice President and General Manager
Apr 02, 2013Fort Worth, TX - ID Technology, one of North America's largest single-source providers of labeling, coding, and marking equipment, services and supplies, announced today Alan Shipman has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager.
Mr. Shipman will lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Fort Worth based ID Technology which has 16 regional offices across the United States. He will report to Bob Zuilhof, President of ProMach’s Identification and Tracking Business Unit, and will work with the company’s leadership team to continue ID Technology’s strong record of growth, customer satisfaction, product leadership and market development.
Mr. Shipman is a veteran labeling and management professional who began his career with ID Technology 18 years ago as its South Central Regional Manager. Most recently he served as Vice President of Sales. Before joining ID Technology he was employed with Accenture Consulting.
