Environmental Enclosure for Label Printer Applicators
ID Technology has an environmental enclosure that isolates a Label Printer Applicator from contaminants and debris present in harsh production environments, such as lumber mills and meat packing plants.
The industrial label printer applicator uses thermal transfer technology to print and apply variable information labels, on-line, without slowing production. With print speeds up to 12" per second and print resolution up to 300dpi; barcodes, text and graphics print crisply and clearly on a wide variety of substrates.
The label printer applicator can be mounted in any orientation for top, bottom or side label application. System status beacons are also available to warn of low label, ribbon or other application problems. The label printer applicators are available with Zebra, Datamax or Sato print engines.
The new improved design is smaller and more versatile with easier access to labels, ribbon and machine controls. Hinged steel front and rear doors with optional locks, make operator control adjustments and label/ribbon change over quick and easy. The front Lexan window allows for visual inspection of the machine without exposing the applicator to the environment.
The environmental enclosure is available in stainless or painted steel and uses positive air pressure to repel dust and other debris. An optional light and heater is available for cold environments.
